This trip is to Yosemite National Park, in California,

and includes San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel and the Napa Valley.

Prices start at $4990. Everyone has their own sighted guide and a GoCity Pass, which includes admission for up to 25 attractions in San Fransisco. Single supplement, $1000.


Day 1: arrival

Hello San Francisco
The Westin St. Francis Hotel is the base for our trip. Tours, cafes, shops and the cable car are all here.
This evening we get together for a Meet & Greet dinner.

Day 2: Two choices in wine country

Combine a visit to Northern California wine country with a Muir Woods experience for a truly fabulous day out. First pick up an assistive listening device Braille brochure and map. You’ll begin with a walk through these amazing redwood trees with an informative guide.  Then you'll visit three wineries, with wine-tasting included. 

Optional Upgrade: 

Our private car will pick us up at our hotel and drop us off at the Napa train terminal. Once onboard we go through the lush Napa Valley countryside and be transported back in time. Back to the luxury of the golden age of train travel of the early 1900s, when guests explored the trains beyond their private quarters. Guests aboard the Gourmet Express experience both dining and lounge service, with some courses of your gourmet meal served in each car. This round-trip ride is approximately 3 hrs.

Day 3: Hop on-Hop off double decker bus

Steps from our hotel is the Hop-on-Hop- off Union Square stop. We’ll ride a double-decker sightseeing bus to San Francisco's most famous landmarks. Our first stop is North Beach, also know as Little Italy. We’ll taste Focaccia sandwiches from Mario’s, Chocolate from Z Cioccolato, Cannoli from Stella Pastry. 

Back on the bus, some of the stops we won’t want to miss are Pier 39 to check out the sea lions. Wandering through the Golden Gate Park and the Fisherman’s Wharf. We go at our own pace, hopping off at any of 15 stops, exploring at your leisure, and then hopping back on it will take us back to our Union Square stop. If you stay on the bus, the narrated tour is 2 hours. You have from 10:00 to 5:00 pm to explore the city.

Day 4:

Very early this morning, we board a comfortable minibus for the drive to Yosemite National Park. En route, make a snack stop among the fruit and nut orchards of the San Joaquin Valley before continuing on to the Sierra Nevada foothills. Entering the national park via historical Groveland, we stop for a hike among Yosemite’s giant sequoias—ancient redwood trees whose trunks span up to 40 feet in diameter.  Your drive continues into the Yosemite Valley, stopping at Tunnel View which includes Bridalveil Fall, El Capitan, and Half Dome. 

After a close-up look at the falls, head to El Capitan, the world’s largest exposed granite monolith. Then it’s on to visit Half Dome and Yosemite Falls, whose lower and upper cascades form North America’s tallest waterfall.

During free time, explore on your own and purchase lunch (own expense), you can hike among numerous paths. Then meet back up with your guide for the return drive to San Francisco, with another quick stop for food before your full-day tour ends with hotel drop-off.

Day 5:

This morning we start with a Cable Car Ride
Cable cars have been transporting people around San Francisco since the late 19th century. Their familiar bells can be heard ringing from blocks away.

Walk over The Golden Gate Bridge, the most famous bridge in the world, stunning 1.7-mile span on the pedestrian walkway. We’ll take a break in Sausalito before walking back. We may decide to take the ferry instead.

Free Time for the Rest of the Day. You may choose:

Bay Cruise and visit to Alcatraz.
Sail around this infamous prison and get immersed in a history of crime and punishment as you learn about the grisly characters, the failed escapes, and the brutality of life on the Rock.

Visit the Historic Presidio
What was a former military base is now a national park and a National Historic Landmark District, widely known for its natural beauty, art and culture, and much more

Explore the Mission
Founded in 1776, the Mission is San Francisco's oldest neighborhood, but features some of its newest restaurants and galleries. Latino culture and Dolores Park are among the most popular attractions.

It’s the only place in San Francisco to touch, tinker, and play with hundreds of interactive exhibits.

The entrance to Chinatown, at Grant Avenue and Bush Street is called the Dragon's Gate. Inside are 24 blocks of hustle and bustle, most of it taking place along Grant Avenue, the oldest street in San Francisco. Visitors can buy traditional remedies from herb shops, relax and enjoy a dim sum lunch or nibble on fortune cookies.

Oracle Park is widely regarded as one of the premier ballparks in all of baseball A tour let’s you step foot on the Field, sit in a Major League Dugout, take a peek inside the Visitors' Clubhouse and experience a brand-new museum space detailing the rich and storied history of the franchise, called The Giant Vault.

Day 6: Monterey & Carmel

Drive down one of the most scenic roads in California on this full-day tour from San Francisco. Cruise along the coast-hugging Highway 1, passing the mansions of Pebble Beach on the iconic 17-Mile Drive. Enjoy free time to explore Monterey, where you can stroll down Steinbeck’s Cannery Row or visit the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. Browse the ritzy boutiques of Carmel-by-the-Sea and get a glimpse of Silicon Valley’s tech campuses on the return drive to San Francisco.

Make our way to the airport for our return flights home.

  • A $1500 deposit per person ($750 for you and $750 for your guide) is required to hold space; the balance will be due 90 days prior to the trip, after which fees will no longer be refundable.
